On May 21-23, Choose DuPage, along with representatives from 11 municipalities, participated in the largest gathering of real estate professionals at the International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC) RECon trade show. The annual trade show features the world’s largest gathering of real estate professionals with 30,000 attendees. This allowed each municipality first-class exposure and opportunities to network, promote doing business in DuPage County and learn from industry experts. The 11 municipalities exhibited at the Choose DuPage booth were; Bensenville, Burr Ridge, Downers Grove, Hanover Park, Itasca, Lisle, Lombard, Naperville, Oakbrook, Villa Park and Wood Dale. The municipalities partnered with Choose DuPage to display literature about their cities and conduct meetings with developers and other business contacts. The focus is continually on promoting the area and its outstanding opportunities not only for businesses but for individuals and families looking to relocate. By providing a showcase that real estate professionals could interact with, Choose DuPage is confident that DuPage County will continue to be at the forefront of these professionals’ minds when considering areas with immense potential for prosperity and growth.
