Choose DuPage Participates in RECon Trade Show to Promote Municipalities in DuPage County
(June 5, Lisle, Ill.) On May 21-23, Choose DuPage, along with representatives from 11 municipalities, participated in the largest gathering of real estate professionals at the International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC) RECon trade show. The annual trade show features the world’s largest gathering of real estate professionals with 30,000 attendees. This allowed each municipality first-class exposure and opportunities to network, promote doing business in DuPage County and learn from industry experts. The 11 municipalities exhibited at the Choose DuPage booth were; Bensenville, Burr Ridge, Downers Grove, Hanover Park, Itasca, Lisle, Lombard, Naperville, Oakbrook, Villa Park and Wood Dale. The municipalities partnered with Choose DuPage to display literature about their cities and conduct meetings with developers and other business contacts. The Choose DuPage booth conducted up to six meetings at one time, lending to its success. Images are available by visiting Choose DuPage’s Facebook page. Municipality representatives noted the benefit of their involvement with Choose DuPage, “On behalf of all of us in Hanover Park, I want to thank you again for hosting us at the Choose DuPage booth at ICSC. We greatly appreciated all of your coordination and preparation, which made it a productive and enjoyable area for us to be during the conference,” said Katie Bowman, village planner, community development, for the Village of Hanover Park. “We are proud to be involved with Choose DuPage and look forward to continued collaboration in the future.” Choose DuPage was proud to assist the municipalities by utilizing this event to advertise DuPage County’s diverse offerings. The focus is continually on promoting the area and its outstanding opportunities not only for businesses but for individuals and families looking to relocate. By providing a showcase that real estate professionals could interact with, Choose DuPage is confident that DuPage County will continue to be at the forefront of these professionals’ minds when considering areas with immense potential for prosperity and growth.
