For the third straight year, newly released Illinois tourism figures show DuPage County posting historic highs in annual revenues while helping boost the county’s economy.
The DuPage Convention & Visitors Bureau
(CVB) is pleased to announce that DuPage County tourism expenditures continue to rise, with 2014’s revenues and tax contributions at all-time highs for the third straight year.
According to the State of Illinois Office of Tourism (IOT)
, visitors to DuPage County contributed $2.428 billion to the state’s economy in 2014, representing a 4.8% increase over 2013. In comparison, 2013 experienced a 3.1% increase over 2012. Continue reading
