Not only does the super store bring significant property and sales tax revenue, they still own their location on Ogden Avenue and Route 59 and plan to lease it out. Standard Market Located at Aurora and Ogden Avenue Westmont-based Standard Market will be making its way into Naperville, taking over the vacant plot near Ogden and Aurora Avenues, formerly home of Frank’s Nursery. Construction is already underway, and this specialty grocer will be opening its doors by Summer 2014. In addition to the activity outlined above, Naperville also has several new businesses coming into town including; Inplex Custom Extruders, Fiat, Aquagenics Technologies, and DeEtta’s Bakery. “It’s been a busy year,” said Christine Jeffries, President of the Naperville Development Partnership. “Having this much new development has been outstanding, and add to that the new businesses that have and will open their doors brings a lot of opportunity to Naperville, and to DuPage County” said Jeffries. The Naperville Development Partnership is a public/private economic development organization that promotes business interests in the City of Naperville. The Partnership often works with Choose DuPage in their shared mission to enhance the economic vitality, and maintain the outstanding quality of life through the retention and expansion of existing businesses as well as attracting new businesses to Naperville and DuPage County, respectively.
