A Sustainable Path Forward:
Reducing Hazardous Solvents and Pollution at your Surface Finishing Facility
Did you know that the EPA is proposing to ban the solvent TCE in most industrial and consumer products that would rapidly phase down TCE for all uses within one year of the rule’s implementation?
In this workshop, presented by SEDAC and Cook County, you’ll learn about options for TCE replacement, such as water-based solvents and technologies that can be used. As well as other pollution-reducing options for surface finishing facilities, such as managing air quality, energy management best practices, and water conservation options for coating processes.
